freakin' weekend
haha... that phrase has always made me laugh. and since i haven't been listening to much music lately, i get the weirdest songs floating through my head. i should qualify that. i haven't been choosing to fill all my moments with background music. i have however recently (relatively) bought some new cd's. i bought the postal service's such great heights album, which i love. great lyrics. i like it better than death cab, for sure. i also bought a gary jules album that has a song called "no poetry". i love it. i think i should start making a list of all the songs that i could listen to on repeat for 5 hours straight. this song be on it. along with joseph arthur's honey and the moon and ryan adams' la cienega just smiled.
let's see, what else is there...
i hope you all have seen this this . and if you haven't, do it NOW. i promise you will love it.
i don't have too much else to report. i just finished roger scruton's the west and the rest and i really enjoyed it, though i would like to hear someone else's opinion on it who has studied arab history.
