the doctor called last week. very strange. i'm never sure what to do with any interaction from that side of the canadian border. i hate that i am wincing to trust any of their reports, but what does one do? i am not there and the only reports i get are, *cough* difficult to reconcile, shall we say. it was very good to hear his voice, though. there are a few individuals whose confidence are enough to keep a person going. so, doctor, in spite of our riddled past, i thank you for your friendship. i would love to see you again someday.
