i saw magnolia yesterday, and loved it. though, i have to admit that my taste in such things is not by any means universal (apparently quite a few people found this film self-indulgently depressing or just too raw) but i have to say, i thought it was beautiful and entirely redemptive.
and, i must say, so is this though, i'm surprised i haven't heard anyone else ranting about it...
