just an extra y chromosome thoughthas it crossed your mind that the "adam's curse" of which you both (or perhaps even all three of you) speak consists of your preoccupation with, dare i say it, yourself? be it your neurotic introspection or your paranoid speculations about how you are percieved by the world around you, the focus is the same...

perhaps the answer lies somewhere entirely unexpected and your cure is something like the taking a humiliating dip in a dirty jordan river. have you ever thought of spending some time in a refugee camp, or even looking out your window to the suffering around you? and instead of attempting to reconcile it with how you feel the world should be, doing something to redeem the fall as it manifests itself all around us. i would have thought that if post-modernity taught us anything it was to get out of our own frigging heads and find out through living what all our trite syllogisms and neverending ponderings could never teach us?
