okay, boys...let's get over ourselves . i'm pleased to find that we've all shared some kind of relatively simultanious epiphany about ourselves concerning the inwardness of our problems, the veil of circumstance having been lifted from our eyes. however, it is just as disgustingly self-indulgent to wallow in this new enlightened perception, as if the acceptance of our state of emotional turmoil (from which i'm sure i'm exempt for the simple fact that i'm a girl) is somehow more noble than a movement toward something better - say, wholeness or capacity to love. just a thought.
