my lately discovered feminism Or “What I Learned At Hillsdale College”
I wonder when this weariness will leave me. when I figure out what it is I’m made for… hmm… the longer I keep my own company, the more I am of the conviction that I am a very square peg. And like glycerin or that one extra oxygen molecule, it matters where I end up as I could do some serious damage if I were to find myself in the wrong environment. I think I should become a nun… wouldn’t that just tie the knot in everyone’s theories about me as psycho-vixen/spawn-of-Satan thriving on my sexual unattainability. Well, screw the critics (I’m not a nun, yet).
And interestingly enough, the afore mentioned theory is only posited by those of the “male” (penis-possessing) persuasion who couldn’t have me… But I would like to lay before the jury exhibits A, B, and phantom z, all examples of fellows who would heartily attest to my extreme availability. So I guess you’re either a demon or a whore. Alas, life is difficult for a girl. Whatever happened to the goddess/maddona option? I guess that was simply a guise for the emotionally and psychologically disturbed she-demon who distinguishes herself by flattening every boy she sees. I believe they call them “Teases”. It’s a shame that A. didn’t have the testosterone to come out and say what he meant. It appears that the only way you can make it into the goddess category is by either being entirely sterile, or simply not being familiar on a personal level. For people like A., J., and who knows how many others, the creed is unless I can have you, I will hate you.
My final conclusion is that we all should have stayed on our own side of the sandbox. Or in first grade someone should have handed out an instruction manual to the unfortunate fools who have the unlucky lot to be either a boy or a girl. There should have been only one rule: Boys (or Girls) are yucky. Don’t even think about it.
